Kryshelle Llacuna, EBC Reporter from HCMC quoted UNESCO’s Resolution 24C/18.65, by which the UNESCO General Conference in 1987 gave the Director-General and Member States the honour to join in the commemoration of the centenary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh (1890-1990). Vietnam donated to eight countries (Australia, Brunei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand) medical supplies (include antibacterial masks protect you with virus and testing KITs “Made in Vietnam” worth around $420,000).
Vietnam also automatically extends temporary residence permit for foreigners stucked in the country because of novel coronavirus disease as long as they meet certain conditions. Those foreign nationals entering Vietnam before March one will have their temporary residence permit extended until the end of June 30 without any fee.
